I’m the opposite. I’ve always felt that the more information a client has, the easier it is for them to make intelligent decisions. For example, accurately pricing a property (so it sells for the highest possible price) can be a real mystery, but tracking what similar properties sell for is a big part of the puzzle. 

Remember, the price of an active unsold listing means nothing. For example, two properties in my neighbourhood are at least $100,000 over-priced right now. Therefore it would be a massive mistake to price your home based on these two listings!
